Thomas
E. Long, M.D.
Dr. Long received
his undergraduate at Tennessee Wesleyan
College in Athens, Tennessee in biology. He did his internship at the
City of Memphis Hospital in straight medicine. Dr. Long did his
residency at the University of Tennessee, Memphis in Otolaryngology-
Head and Neck Surgery. He was board certified by the American
Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery in 1979.
Dr. Long is
Chairman of the Surgery Department and is the Otolaryngology
Division Consultant for Le Bonheur Children's Hospital. He is the medical
missions
chairman at his local church where he volunteer's yearly for mission
trips. Dr. Long
is also on the advisory board for the Christian Medical and Dental Society
and the
Memphis Oral School Board.
Dr. Long is
married with 3 children. His interests are church, children's sports
and drama, biking and tennis.

Neal
S. Beckford, M.D.
Dr. Beckford
received his undergraduate at Ohio State University
in Columbus, Ohio in biology. He attended medical school and did his
surgical internship at Howard University in Washington D.C. Dr.
Beckford did his residency at the University of Pittsburgh School of
Medicine in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. He was board
certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck
Surgery in 1985.
Dr. Beckford
was elected President of the Bluff City Medical Society for 1999-
2000. He is on the Board of Trust for Opera Memphis and is on the Board
of
Directors for the Memphis and Shelby County Medical Society. Dr. Beckford
also is
a member of the American Medical Association, the American Academy of
Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, the Association of Otolaryngology
Administrators and several other professional societies and organizations.
Dr. Beckford
is married with 3 children. He enjoys music, bicycling, exercising
and spending time with his family.

Joel
Kahane, Ph.D., CCC-SLP
Dr. Kahane
is a medical speech pathologist specializing
in the treatment of voice disorders, medical based speech
pathologies and swallowing dysfunction. He received his B.A.
in Biology, and M.S. in Speech Pathology from Brooklyn
College of the City University of New York, and a Ph.D. in
Biocommunication from the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Kahane is a
Fellow of the
American Speech-Language and Hearing Association. He is licensed and
clinically
certified in speech-language pathology.
